
Charles Edward Grochowski passed away on February 23, 2025 at the age of 77. Charles was born on September 22, 1947 in Northampton, MA to parents Chester and Rose Grochowski.
Charles was a graduate of Smith Vocational High School and then went on to serve in the US Navy from 1966-1968. He worked for National Nonwovens (formerly National Felt) in Easthampton for over 40 years, where he retired as a Senior Buyer.
Charles enjoyed spending time working on all kinds of projects. Whether it be working on his car, home improvement projects around his and his daughter's home, and most recently exploring his artistic side. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandson. Charles was also a respected member of the AA community, where he made many friends that he considered family. He was always willing to lend a hand and help anyone who may be in need.
Charles was predeceased by his parents, Chester and Rose Grochowski, and his brothers Thomas and William Grochowski.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Grochowski and her partner Kyle Thibodeau, his grandson, Henry Thibodeau, his brother, Chet Grochowski (Doris), his Nephews, Scott Grochowski (Jennifer) and David Grochowski (Christine), his niece, Joanne Grochowski, and several beloved cousins and great nieces and nephews.
