Susan "Sue" Marie Corbett (Cipriani) passed away on November 11th 2019 at the age of 65 in her longtime home in Westfield. Susan was born on September 30th, 1954 to the late Ernest J. Cipriani and Marie A. (Guerriero) Cipriani in Springfield where she enjoyed her childhood in a neighborhood full of family. The Cipriani's soon moved to West Springfield where they grew up happily and supported. Susan is predeceased by her uncle Lewis Guerriero, her Aunt Viola Fusco and her cousin and best friend Debbie Ferriter. She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Maria Corbett, son Mike Corbett and his partner Brandi St. Romain, and her pride and joy granddaughter Mia Shay. She leaves her devoted brother Steven Cipriani, niece Stephanie and nephew Stephen. Susan will be missed by her lifelong friends: her cousins Eda and Rick Gilday, Anthony and Diane Fusco, Anna and Rich Gagnon and Gloria Keefe. Sue was an active member of the Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church in Westfield. She was dedicated to her career in the Emergency Department at Baystate Medical for over 20 years. She enjoyed yearly family trips to the beach and spending time with her granddaughter Mia. Susan will be remembered for her unmatched selflessness and sacrifices she has made for her family and friends. Her children, brother and close family will continue living as Susan did; with strength, resilience and love. Donations to the D’Amour Center where she was treated so wonderfully. A memorial service will be held at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church on Wednesday, November 20th at 11 AM. Guests will be received at 10 AM, the burial will be held at a later date. The Williamsburg Funeral Home was entrusted with her Cremation and services.
